Organisers of the Boston 2026 World Expo have announced the international jury that will evaluate exhibits at the major philatelic event scheduled for May 23–30 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
In a March 2 press release, Boston 2026 public relations chair Thomas Fortunato said more than 40 jurors accredited by the International Federation of Philately (FIP) will judge approximately 3,500 competitive exhibit frames and nearly 200 literature entries during the eight-day exhibition.
The jury includes representatives from 26 countries, with the United States providing the largest delegation of judges, totalling 11. American philatelist Peter McCann will serve as jury president, while Prakob Chirakiti of Thailand has been named honorary president. The jury’s executive committee also includes vice presidents, consultants and secretaries.

Boston 2026 will bring the global philatelic community together as part of celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States. The exhibition will occupy roughly 352,000 square feet at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
The show will feature a large international dealer bourse, participation from postal administrations and philatelic societies worldwide, and an FIP-sanctioned competitive exhibition of about 3,500 frames. Special exhibits, a Court of Honor display and a major FIP literature competition will also be presented.
In addition to the exhibition programme, organisers plan hundreds of meetings, seminars and presentations in more than 40 meeting rooms, encouraging education and international collaboration.
